Your candle is designed to create moments of calm and intention. A few simple candle care tips will help you enjoy a clean, even burn every time—and keep your space safe.

Before You Light

Place your candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface away from drafts, flammable materials, and out of reach of children and pets.

The Art of the Perfect Burn

For the best candle performance, trim your wick to 1/4’’ before each lighting; this simple candle maintenance step prevents smoking and ensures an even burn. Keep the wax pool free of wick trimmings, matches, or debris for a cleaner flame. Center the wick as it burns to prevent uneven melting.

Candle Safety Essentials

Never leave a burning candle unattended. Avoid placing candles in drafty areas, which can cause uneven burning and smoking. These candle safety tips help protect your home and extend your candle's life.

Make Your Candle Last Longer

Proper soy candle care means honoring the ritual: burn long enough for the wax to melt evenly across the surface (usually 2-3 hours), then extinguish and let it cool completely before relighting. This prevents tunneling and maximizes your candle's burn time.
